CREATISE Communications Pte. Ltd. (“CREATISE”, “we”, “our”) values your privacy and is committed to safeguarding your personal data in compliance with applicable local laws and regulations. This Personal Data Protection Policy outlines how we collect, use, and disclose your personal data, and it is easily accessible at the bottom of every page of www.creatisecomms.org and its subpages (“website”). This policy applies to all entities within the CREATISE entity involved in collecting, processing, using, transmitting, transferring, and storing of personal data, except where national legislation mandates specific data protection rules.

 

It is important that you read this Policy alongside any other policies we provide on specific occasions when we collect or process personal data about you, to fully understand how and why we use your personal data. This Personal Data Protection Policy complements other notices and privacy policies and does not override them unless explicitly stated.

  1. CREATISE operates this Website and takes its responsibilities under Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (the “PDPA”) seriously. We respect the personal data you entrust to us and are committed to managing, protecting, and processing it responsibly.

  2. In this Policy, “personal data” refers to data, whether true or not, that identifies an individual directly or in combination with other available information. Examples of personal data include names, identification numbers, contact information, photographs, and video images. Unless restricted by the PDPA or other applicable law, you consent to our processing your personal data as described in this Policy.

Disclosure of your personal data

Business Transactions

If the Company is involved in a merger, acquisition or asset sale, Your Personal Data may be transferred. We will provide notice before Your Personal Data is transferred and becomes subject to a different Privacy Policy.

 

Law enforcement

Under certain circumstances, the Company may be required to disclose Your Personal Data if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g. a court or a government agency).

  • Identity Data (e.g., first name, last name, job title, social media handle)

  • Contact Data (e.g., address, email address, telephone numbers)

  • Employee Data (e.g., CV, gender, nationality, work experience, date of birth)

  • Image Data (e.g., photos, videos)

  • Behavioural Data (e.g., website browsing activities, IP address, browser type, operating system) collected through cookies or Google Analytics

  • Marketing and Communications Data (e.g., preferences in receiving marketing communications)

  • We may also collect other categories of personal data about your personal preference, in specific situations, such as dietary requirements for event bookings or health information for event accessibility purposes. We process such data only when you provide it and for the purposes stated.

 

2.DISCLOSURES, we may share your personal data with the following parties:

  • Internal Third Parties: Other companies within the CREATISE entity acting as joint controllers or processors, located worldwide, for CRM and financial systems, business reporting, group restructuring, system maintenance, data hosting, and to provide information on products and services (unless you opt out).

  • External Third Parties: Contractors, designated agents, and service providers (e.g., CRM, email marketing, event management, Finance services, IT services) who assist in administering events, managing feedback, processing payments, and providing event-related services.

  • Third Parties in Business Transactions: Parties involved in the sale, transfer, or merger of parts of our business or assets, or in the acquisition of other businesses. Your personal data will be used by new owners in accordance with this policy.

  • We require all third parties to respect the security of your personal data and to process it only as instructed and in compliance with the law.

 

3.DATA SECURITY

  • We have implemented appropriate security measures to prevent unauthorized access, use, alteration, or disclosure of your personal data. Access to your personal data is limited to employees, agents, contractors, and other third parties who require it for business purposes, and they are bound by confidentiality obligations.

  • We have procedures in place to manage suspected personal data breaches and will notify you and relevant regulators of breaches when legally required.

 

4.DATA RETENTION

  • We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which we collected it, including legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, or reporting requirements. We may retain data for longer periods if necessary for litigation or potential litigation purposes.

Basic customer information is retained for six years after the customer relationship ends for tax purposes.

  • We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies or practice of any third party sites or services

 

HOW LONG DO YOU KEEP MY DATA FOR?
We will retain your personal data only for as long as we need it for our legitimate interest in accordance with applicable law, after such time, we will either delete or anonymize your information or, if this is not possible (for example, because the information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your information and isolate it from any further use until deletion is possible. Below, we describe how long we keep it:

  • Marketing information: If you have elected to receive marketing from us, we will retain information about your marketing preferences for three years from the date that you last express interest in our products and services, such as when you last open an email from us. We will retain information derived from cookies and other tracking technologies for 13 months from the date such information was created.

  • Mobile app: We retain information we collect from your use of our mobile app for three years from when you disable your account. If you stop using the app but do not disable your account, we will disable it for you after four years from the last time you sign on.

 

CHANGES TO OUR PRIVACY POLICY
This Privacy Policy is effective as of 5 September 2024. From time to time, it may be necessary for us to change this Privacy Policy. If we change our policy, we will post the revised version here, so we suggest that you check here periodically for the most up-to-date version of our Privacy Policy. Rest assured, however, that any changes will not be retroactively applied and will not alter how we handle previously collected information.
